We are regular customers of Courier Guy in Virginia, sending parcels very frequently, also making use of their Pudo locker in Hennenman on a weekly basis. We order from our supplier weekly and now, because the Courier guy driver was inexperienced and did not register the parcel correctly, we have to pay an additional R725.00 extra for a parcel not even 200km,s away!! I could have driven there and picked up the parcel myself for less! This makes my order a complete loss and completely late and resulted in a lot of my customers being extremely upset! So much for customer service!! And then I had to deal with a very rude Courier Guy Manager, even though the front of house personnel are very helpful. I am very disappointed and considering taking my business elsewhere. Save yourself a lot of trouble and use someone else
My wife ordered a set of bushes for a discovery II and paid with an EFT (immediate payment) on the 14th of May 2020. which was deposited into Gerald's personal account. the wrong items were sent and was received on the 17th of May 2020 and we contacted the Malalane branch (Gerald) to bring this to their attention. As arranged with Gerald, we returned the wrong items at our cost, along with the samples of the correct items. When Gerald received the returned items, he informed my wife, Thereza, on the 4th of June 2020, that he would supply the correct bushes as per the samples that we sent him, at no extra cost. He then contacted Thereza on Saturday, the 6th of June 2020 and informed her that the price would be almost doubling from R3 944,00 to R7 500,00. The next day Thereza informed Gerald that we would not be accepting the new quote and that we would like them to refund us. His reply to this was that they have had a lot of expenses and that we would have to wait for 15 days for a refund. On Monday, the 8th of June Thereza spoke to Leon Lubbe, who told her (in a very snotty manner) that he would first have to review the matter before giving us our money back and then only after 15 days! This is truly unacceptable, as they received payment immediately upon our acceptance of the first quote! PS Alternative quotes received subsequently for the same items were significantly lower than the R7500.00 .
