Trying to get what you paid for from Corne is a big gamble; some people get what they ordered and the rest of us don't. I ordered two bookshelves from him in early November 2019, he promised delivery in December since I was relocating to Joburg. I eventually moved to Joburg without the shelves. I tried to organise a moving company to bring the shelves up, but he refused because "he would send them up with another bigger order that was already going to Joburg"...that was all of December to March, the same excuse, somehow the big order was just not coming up to Joburg. I got fed up and tried to organise a courier company to fetch the shelves, more excuses from Corne, he was never on site, he was not available, etc.. Lockdown happened, and as soon as we got to level 3 I tried to organise a courier service to fetch the shelves again....more excuses from Corne; he was not yet fully open, he does not have a permit, he was not around, he is not in Cape Town, etc. After a six-month run-around I got tired and asked for my money back....nearly a month later and I'm still chasing after him for my refund. Corne has so many excuses, it is actually amazing.
