Corrupt business

2 years ago I started renting a property belonging to this pathetic excuse for a law firm or what ever they want to call them selves. In January 2020 I notified them that my business is failing and I might need to close the doors permanently. March 2020 I gave a month's notice as I had no other choice to close to doors because of the Covid pandemic. Unfortunately I could not afford to stay the remainder of the rental period and gave notice 3 months prior to the end of the contract, to ensure they find someone in due time to occupy the space. The notice was accepted and we arranged an out going inspection. It has been another 3 months and there is no help what so ever from them. They have the worst attitude and rude responses when we did Finaly get hold of them. They are now refusing to pay back the deposit that I paid 2 years ago, saying they are holding me liable as I left before the contract ended. However it is in my full right to give notice and vacate seeing as the company had to close down. Luckily I did not owe anyone any money so it was a private decision to close the business and I have to now go to the tribunal court to take this further as they refuse to give me the contact details of the owner to try sort this out. Please spare yourself the heartache and trouble and steer clear of this pathetic excuse for a company. They will rob you blind.
