Service is great. Account managers are quick to respond. Only issue is the occasional misformatting of phone number for Namibia
I was contacted a few days ago by someone saying they were representing MWeb and asked if I wanted a data plan. I responded saying yes, but only if I could move my line management over from my existing ISP. They said I must phone Mweb (not actually explaining they were not from MWeb) to achieve this. Thinking that was weird, I did not worry too much about it. One of the other requirments were that the account should only be activated after the 1st of the month - I received a mail later stating that my account was active...which is not what we agreed on. I received an sms saying I had now subscribed to Pingd powered by MWeb - this is not what was sold to me, and I thought - NO, unacceptable. I found an email address for the company in question - they never responded and I emailed MWeb. After a day, I was told I would be contacted by their cancellation department. I was not so I phoned their help line, only to be told they would get their sales department to contact me. I am still awaiting this response. I have also received NO contract details and the 3rd party resellers website does not work
