Would not recommend Tony/Anthony Van Vuuren from Diamond Projects to anyone

Would not recommend this person for a project. I looked for someone to fix our garage door as a part had broken, we contacted ''Tony'' real name Anthony Van Vuuren from Diamond Projects. He came out on the Monday and had a look at the damage, he said he would see how much the part is and quote us. I whats appd Tony because I never received a quote, he said it would cost R1850 to service both doors (I replied and said I did not ask for servicing of the garage doors) I then agreed he can service the right hand side garage door we use and replace the part (which I later found out costs between R110 and R150) and agreed on the R1500. Tony came to my house with his helper, he started in the garage and I paid him in full! (I should not have done this till the work was done.) He took the part from my left hand side garage and put it in the right hand side garage (Never fixed the left hand side garage with the part he used to make the right hand side garage operational.) He was at my home for 20 mins maximum. He says he serviced my garage door but its squeaks now when you open and close it which it never did before! When I called him following up to hear when he will be coming to finish the job he told me he would just be dropping off the part he had ordered. When I said Tony but thats not right, how can you charge R1500 for just putting a part from my left hand side garage to my right and not fix the problem we had, he replied by saying he does not work for peanuts! It gets worse..... he never delivered the part he ordered (I received an email stating he had sent it via Postnet I must collect it there) When I said Tony you dont want to come drop off the part because you know what you did is wrong, he said no its not that its because he does not want to see my face! What a bad experience we had. Would not recommend him to anyone
