Scenic atmosphere, divine wines, delicious cheese boards! Excellent experience at the executive tasting lounge, special thanks to Rita - her friendliness and in-depth knowledge was refreshing, she also tailored the tasting to our needs! Highly recommended winery.

Superb service, excellent quality. The manager and waitress went out of their way to ensure the meals were made just as I’d like it.
Delightful, authentic experience. The prawn korma and kurfi : delicious! But what really made my evening was the service. Vinod, attended to my table and was such a wonderful gentleman. The level of attentiveness, concern, preempting the guests wants was unparalleled. This is the level of service one would get at a 5 star hotel and nothing less. Compliments to the chef and the staff at Sunninghill!
I simply love this service station, it’s always neat and tidy, staff are always friendly and helpful too! The cherry on top is the Manaka coffee shop at the forecourt. A shout out to Batandwa, the cashier, he has such a great attitude and knows how to do customer service with a smile.
? what an awful experience! I always go here and really enjoyed the falafels. But the customer treatment I received today was really putrid. I waited in line for about 20 minutes…. The manager, spoke to the lady behind me in Zulu and said that they are now closed… so I didn’t pay any attention, knowing that he can see me and that he acknowledged I would be the last person they would serve. I waited a few more minutes while the lady ahead of me was served, and when it was my turn … they tell me they are closed. This is such a joke! The servers, the manager all saw me in line all this time. They respond saying “we thought you were with the lady ahead of you” okay… so just cos she’s an Indian and I’m an Indian you assume we are together. Wow ok. Stereotype aside… when I mentioned I am here alone they could have still served me. But they completely ignored me… so I walked away… knowing that this manager would rather lose a customer instead of just taking 5 minutes to make the falafel knowing that they all stereotyped me and the customer before me…. Absolutely pathetic. A little goes a long way…. 5 minutes saved but you have lost a loyal customer. ?
Perfect scenery, good food, lovely set up. Unfortunate that poor service causes a bad experience. We entered through the hotel lobby, a man named Victor told us there was no space and that we had to leave as we didn’t make a reservation and there was no space for walk ins. So we said we are willing to wait, we sat in the lobby almost 20 minutes. He personally accompanied a female upstairs who like us didn’t have a reservation, we thought nothing of it. However he did the same for a group of 5 people. This was when my cousin went to speak to another man at the desk asking why others were seated before us. This man happened to be the manager, he was perplexed as to why victor made us wait in the first place. He apologised and told us to go upstairs. We get upstairs only to encounter Victor again, he says there is no space at the deck and that we should sit at the restaurant inside. After my initial experience with him, I didn’t believe a word he said. So we walked past and go to the deck only to find lots of free space and the waiters seated us in minutes. Why was he so rude? Why did he only allow certain people upstairs without a reservation and not us. It really soured the experience for my cousins as it was their first time there. I was also pretty embarrassed having suggested the place to them.
Delicious meals every time. But my favorite thing is how they are willing to accommodate requests for instance substituting chicken for veg in a pasta :)
