Not truthful

We wanted to get away for a long weekend and phoned Klerksdorp Dam Resort to find out about entertainment for the kids. The lady told us they have a swimming pool, put-put, Super tube and warm water pool. We booked into the Cabanas 5 bed and off we went. On arrival we had to wash all the dishes and glasses before use. The Fridge looked like it hasn't been cleaned for ages with the whole inside frozen up. Water kept on leaking from the inside of the fridge so the the floor had to be mopped constantly. The roof fans in the main bedroom and lounge area had one speed, looks like it is pulling out of its mountings and makes a noise that you cannot keep the fans on when you go to bed. The couch has got wire keeping it together. The bath is black and the double bed in the main bedroom is so worn out that you roll towards each other in the middle of the bed. The braai area wasn't cleaned for the entire time we were at the resort and had to clean it ourselves. We could not use the "heated pool" during the week because they used it for training. When we went to use the "heated pool" Saturday morning we found out that it was not heated and its been like that for months. The super tube will only work on the weekend if their was enough interest, other wise it will be kept off. Once the sun sets the resort is so dark that we had to keep the kids inside, I could not find a street light working. The only good thing about the resort is the waterfront for fishing. The photos posted on the website of the units is definitely not what I saw. This was the first and last time I visited the resort.
