Such outstanding poor service! Our waiter was so unprofessional, being overly fami**** with my guest and I. He also failed to inform us that there was a three hour limit on each table, leaving us to quickly pay our bill and leave. As a resident of the area, next time I would rather drive to the suburbs to have a decent dining experience. We tried to support our own, but we work too hard to endure such pathetic service.
I STILL have not received my payout due to me, money was paid in 2020! Every month is a different story, promises and lies are the order of the day. This is my second review (first one in 2021, regarding the same issue), the national complaints manager reached out to me and I sent my proof of communication between myself and the administrator, and I am yet to receive any feedback (June 2021). A percentage of my payout is deducted by this company and yet I am being treated like I am being done a favour. I hate, hate, hate Capital Legacy from the depth of my soul. Covid has wrecked our lives, and knowing I have money due to me, but cannot receive it due to incompetence is sickening, no actually, it is inhumane.
I was contacted by a tracing company (on behalf of Sanlam) in January for a pension payout and concluded the paper work with them in February. Sanlam paid out the money to late a estate account I have with Capital Legacy in May. I alerted the lady who handles my account in August, and she said that she wasn't aware of the money paid in and would start the process. I have been following up with her every month since then and I always got short responses of what would be happening, she has never taken the initiative to keep me updated. I finally decided to give her a call (and no response as usual, but an email response shortly afterwards) and was told the same story of a process that would be done rather than specifics of what HAS been done. It's the end of the year, and courts will be closed soon, and my matter still has to be advertised for 21 days in the government gazette (it still has to be approved by the Master of the High Court), so it seems like I will have my matter settled next year. To say that I'm disappointed is an understatement, I am not one to take up issues on such platforms or social media and it took a lot for me to write this, but I feel like I have reached my limit for patience with Capital Legacy on this issue, I doubt I will even refer them to anyone in future. Their service is not free, so behaving as if we are being done a favour is not okay.
