This is an ********* company that does not comply with South African law. The irony of a totally ********* company presenting courses on the King V report and corporate governance is immense. They continue to spam people who have repeatedly requested to be removed from their mailing list. I have a record of dozen of mails and phone calls going back to February 2024 of trying to get their spam out of my mailinbox. I have even reported them under Section 69 of POPIA and related laws like the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA) and Consumer Protection Act (CPA). I requested at least twice that LN Global immediately disclose the source of my details as they are legally required to provide this information under Section 45(1) of ECTA and Section 22(1) of POPIA. Needless to say, their was no reaction.
I have repeatedly asked for my data to be removed from their system and even reported them to the information regulator but I still receive a few emails from them a week
I ordered THE ULTIMATE PORTABLE CAMPING STOVE from https://baun.store on 13 February. Many emails later I have still not received the item - out of stock, in customs, etc. etc. Eventually asked that sale be cancelled - now to see if my money is reimbursed.
I ordered a Folding Mini Keyboard for my phone online from https://elcotech.store on 25 September. I have received nothing yet, in spite of numerous emails.
I am very disappointed. After telling everyone I know how fantastic Leroy Merlin is, I have to change my opinion. We bought cupboard doors on Saturday 28 November and asked for and paid for delivery. The first available date was 3 December and we reluctantly agreed. Thinking that we could trust the company, we arranged for someone to help with the installation on the 4th. The third came and went ....without a delivery. On the 4th, today, I tried to call, over and over,... listened to messages for 12 minutes, the next time for 17 minutes... Eventually, I managed to speak to a human at 17:29. I was told that the order left the store on the 3rd as promised. With a courier and will probably be delivered today or tomorrow. No amount of reasoning could make the service agent understand that I did not have an arrangement with a courier, or that I expect delivery on the date agreed, not to be told that it is somewhere in transit. I insisted that the agent finds out what happened; when I could expect the delivery; and call me back, him, not a nameless courier company. Needless to say, I have not had the promised phone call - not from the agent or the courier. What I did receive is two meaningless emails, with no information that responds to any of my questions. It is now the 5th and I still do not have the cupboard doors or any meaningful answers. I posted to their Facebook page and this seems to have been deleted.
