I would like to write a review about 1st for Women. My consultant was absolutely professional and clear speaking. She helped me get a better price on my cover. I really appreciate her help and her time ..she spoke slowly an explained very well...im very impressed

Its now a month for my refund to be processed from Booking.com. they are taking very long to contact the hotel which i booked in and checked out within 15mins of seeing the room. They are very hard to contact and i already waited a full month for this to be resolved and to-date i am still waiting. They told me the hotel must make an exception for me but still nothing has happened. How long does 1 wait ?
On the 5th of april we checked in late afternoon within 15mins we checked out cause the room had a bad foul smell, there were dead and alive ****roachs everywhere even the passage of the hallway. We booked through booking.com and they told us a refund cant be done. Book.com did confirm i must contact directly so they can make some arrange or head way in regards to a refund or something. The hotel manager for now the past 2 weeks has ignored my emails and each time i called he says he needs time to work on my case but for how long cause this will be the 3rd week. The building is so rundown, so many levels high up and glass is broken 1 push and someone can fall over. The noise that night from the floor below was loud and people were scream and shouting on top of loud music playing. Definitely not a scene for a family especially with young kids around. Will never visit that place again we checked out within 15mins and still no refund or agreement to arrange something. Coastlands lost the elegance
Worst experience ever. Visited nd currently staying here this Christmas 2022. Firstly on Christmas eve the outside light of our silo wasnt working...we ended up braaing in with our phone torch. On Christmas day we requested them to clean up our silo while we was out for about 2 nd half hours ..we came back our silo was not even touched we had to clean up on our own. We cudnt even make our Christmas lunch coz the electricity in our silo only was off for 3hrs then wen it does come back on through the generator...they say by 10pm it will go off...which is ridiculous coz we delayed in our cooking nd to top things off must sleep early coz theres nothing else to do when the generator is off. Also they did not state no appliances likes airfryer or instant pot/ oven must be used ... forcing us to use the restaurant or braai. Truly a horrible experience definitely will not be booking here again ...not forgetting the water pressure is not stable nd the staff does not check up on us... truly disappointed in the cleaning service also.
we stayed over at white mountain lodge in giant's castle, Estcourt for christmas weekend in 2020 & it was a terrible experience, the owner was so rude & arrogant, the pictures are deceiving, the filicatlies are poor, the bedding is so old and smelly, the whole unit was smelly, the shower head was rusty & water was brown and hardly any water coming out, this place is poorly maintained & to top it off we almost of robbed, a man broke a window glass in lounge on our first night of staying there, this happened at 3.30am. This man could watch everything we were doing from the outside facing the kitchen window that had no curtain, he was a tall thin man that cud easily fitted in that long window he had broken but luckily my hubby scared him off TWICE within few seconds, yes he returned back to that window within few seconds & there was no proper professional security guard there, it was a terrifying experience & the owner continued to be rude even though we almost got robbed on his property. This place has no tv & kids playground is old and rusty & the trampoline is broken so the pictures are not true. My family's life was at risk that night we packed up that same morning at 5am & left to go back home. The restaurant food was disgusting, there was cats jumping on the table cutlery and the owner/chef insisted that he will make my choice of supper his way & not the way i would have liked it & i truly didn't like it his way & my hubby's steak was rare but we stated well done, when complained about it they returned the steak well done but on the same ****** plate, when confronting him about it he became very rude & disrespectful even when i complained about the room state, it was a self catering unit but there was barely nothing in the kitchen.
