Ubanda trading and development. CEO - waren Frieslaar Logistics Director - denvor booysen Signed my contract on the 31st of August 2020 Employed from the 1st of September 2020. Job Position- Personal Assistant to the Logistics Director. The job was offered via whatsapp. Contract was signed.. Salary - R8000 Hours were 8-5 no weekends or SA public holidays. Pension and medical aid included. Cput Short course was also provided. Second week of employment, Mr Waren Frieslaar had a one on one with me, mentioning that due to the pandemic we would only get 1.5% of our salary.. My first salary was paid cash and that was R3000. After receiving this I asked Mr Denvor Booysen and Mr Waren Frieslaar for my payslip and up till today I haven't received it. (I was definitely not registered as an employee) We had no induction, there was no office. We were on the road almost everyday for a month and had to work away the second weekend in September which we were not paid for. October month, I received my salary and it was R3000 again. Cput hasn't been paid up and we sent the emails to them but nothing.. eventually Mr Waren Frieslaar decided he wanted my contract from WNS. due to it being a private document I decided not to send it . We had a meeting in the beginning of November where we could speak about things that were bothering us.. I mentioned that I was taken off our medical aid because the contract I signed clearly said MEDICAL AID would be applied. Mr Waren frieslaar then mentioned that only when you become permanent will the medical aid and pension be available, nothing was discussed about that when i signed the contract and then he said he will have new contracts. Mr Denvor Booysen arranged a proposal with Mr Waren Frieslaar, We would resign, complete the short course and return the laptop and we would be payed until our probation period ended which would be the end of this month (February 2021) We had another meeting two weeks before the end of November. They had two options, stay at the company where things will be better or leave and take Mr Denvor Booysen's proposal. I decided to take Mr Denvor Booysen's proposal and while completing the short course i started sending my cv to different companies. I sent Mr waren Frieslaar an sms asking if we would receive our salary for November and there was no response. My mom called him and he said he would get back to her. I then received an email from Mr Denvor Booysend about the proposal being a good will gesture and they're busy with it. I called more than once because debit orders, rent , creche fees needed to be paid but nothing. Every time my mom would call? He would say "I'll call you back" I received so many miss calls because he wanted the laptop back but the short course was extended and assignments needed to be handed in. Once the course was done I delivered the laptop (13.12.20) 30.12.20 - we received this sms from Mr Waren Frieslaar (Good evening Lucia kerishnie and denvor. Sorry for the late reply or feedback on the above topic, this past few week it was and still a difficult time for me, as u know by now my dad past away and my mind was totally not by the work. A few emails was sent to me regarding the pay out of your money, however I am sitting with a problem as agreed we have said we will pay u out, this recommendation was sent it for approval to the other managers and as well to the investors, I have told uses that u will get your money a month ago but I was over turn by the mangers up in jhb and as well from the Ubanda investors, the 1st problem that I am sitting with is your resignation letter that ended with immediately effect were uses was still on probations, therefore they feel that is unfair for any payouts. The second problem that I am sitting is the relationship between denvor and Lucia as they know u are his child, I was ask but why me and Denvor agreed on this to happen, is it because of this above. Last the guys up in jhb who was also on probations terms have also leave and they did not get this offer so I need to do explaining what makes cape Town different, and so the question have come up about the relationship. I will be needing your help please will u re sent me your letter of resignation and please add in that till your probations term is done also uses the same date that uses given in your letters. I will then try and make a plan to see if I can over change this. If not the other alternative will be that we can only the. Pay uses out on end of book year end of February then I will have to pay uses out of my dividends. Please sent me the letter so that I can start with the progress asap. Thank u Waren) (08.01.21)Decided to check the email I used while working for ubanda and found that the offer letters I received on my private email was also sent to the ubanda email. Mr Waren Frieslaar decided to send those emails to everyone in the company. I called him and he said "I'll call you back, there's alot of traffic" He sent me this sms "Hey if it is urgent please contact denvor please" I replied telling him that it is urgent and I need to speak to him and he responded with "OK don't know what time I am gone be available like I say I am driving still and gone be in meetings and on site busy I will need to refer u to denvor plz. U may contact him as your x direct manger thanks" Waited for an hour and he called me. My tone was professional, all I asked was why the offer letters were forwarded to everyone and he went off at me saying "its a company laptop and you can take this further" I told him that the main question was why? He then said he will get the company lawyer and accountant to call me which didn't happen. Today is the 9th of February 2021 and I haven't heard from them.
