We got drinks at the bar left it at the table went to the shop when we got back to the entrance almost 2 hours before lockdown we were refused entrance because they closed the gate. They did not care that we had drinks at the table and half the group was inside and half was stuck outside. This was so unprofessional and disrespectful to paying customers who just wanted to get our drinks and food. This experience made the group feel like we were so low and they had something to prove. DISGUSTING ON BEHALF OF HOBNOBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are locals and this is our frequent watering whole but this was absolutely disrespectful towards the customer that stepped out to the shop. We spent approximately R2000 at this place and they have no regard for the funds we put into this business and we didn’t even get to finish our drinks!
My spectacles got stollen in December, I went to SpecSavers Blueroute to get my replacement pair as it was ensured. On 28 December I made payment and I was told that it would take 2-3 weeks to receive the replacement, I informed the lady assisting me that I suffer from migraines and I desperately need my specs ASAP. After 3 weeks I contacted them to follow up since they never called or emailed to update me. I was then told that they called the lab and the lenses did not pass the quality test and would have to be redone. I got an sms 3 days later stating that my specs where at the lab and it should take a week to receive my spectacles. It has now been 5 weeks, I emailed the branch to follow up and was told that my specs was not with the batch received and they’ll contact me when it arrives. I have never had such a terrible experience at any other SpecSavers branch and it seems that the staff get annoyed with you for following up. If they kept in contact or ensured that you receive your specs within the promised time they would not have “annoying clients” calling the store every day. I will definitely not be using this branch ever again!
