Had a booking for Three nights. 29Dec till 1 Jan 24. Paid a R650.00 deposit. Cancelled 9 days before arrival. Been told no refund due to rooms not booked again. 😡🙈
I used this company for years to renew license disc. Beginning of December I app**** on line. Money taken. Waited and waited. Kept requesting update. On 20 Dec they inform me a hold is placed by traffic due to a third vichael on my name. I tell them it’s impossible they must find out. Eventually on the 22 nd I go get a copy of a144. No third vicheal. Contact them. They inform me I must pay R342 for my disc immediately. I payed Fryday just after 15H00. Had to stay at home Christmas day 🙈. On the 27 get a copy of disc just after 9. Eventually on the 12 of Jan 24 I get my disc. Will never use this company again. Would actually give them a below zero rating. People be ware.
Bad service. Take your money and your court order to attach a firm assets When you inquire when they will take action you get told a Lawyer needs to sign. Been to 4 lawyers and no help. Mail Graham and Biance. No replies to mails. Bad bad
To move is stressful. If a need a tripple shot of stress contact Aran International. We contacted the company in August 2020, to move our house hold goods from Randfontein to Polokwane. Tom send us a inventory list which we filled in and submitted. I also told them them our goods are stored in two garages 3 meters by 6 meters by 3 meters. Both are full. Around 105 qubic meters We received a quote of just over R18000.00 plus vat. Quote information was as follows: Use of all covid materials included. The move would be done with a pantechnicon. Furniture would be wrapped in protecting covers Qualified staff Their pre service was great. We signed the quote in October. They then send us a CREDIT note for the deposit. I found this funny but phoned Tom and he said accounts made a mistake. And would send a invoice. Never arrived so in November paid the R6000.00 deposit. The move was arranged for 9 December. On the Friday before Tom asked if he could move the 8 December. Due to fact we were in Randfontein that time we agreed On Monday 7 at around 15H00 Tom phoned and asked for the rest of payment. I sald please send invoice and I will pay. We received the Invoice and surprise the amount was now 24000 vat included plus price for covid materials to be used We transferred the money and Tom said they will be there at 07H00 next morning. Well they arrived at 14H00 with a small truck (a skor skor type) any way Tom promised us even if they do three load they will move us. That’s were we should have told them cheers They loaded the first load and left. We loaded our car as-well and met them next morning at 09H00 in Polokwane. Unloaded and they left for Randfontein I decided I would hire a 6 Meter trailer to assist We were to meet Thursday 10th well they never arrived. I loaded the trailer and bakkie and left next morning Plenty phone calls to Tom to find out when they would load the last of our stuff. Eventually they arrived on 15 December loaded and then left We thought that they would arrive around 8 that night but that was a MAJOR mistake. They never arrived. Tom phoned me and said they undercharged and he was in trouble with the boss and the account (Tom is the owner) and that unless we pay just under R10000.00 more we would not get our furniture. We had no option as they had around 1/4 of a million rands worth of furniture. They arrived on 24 th December to offload. Some furniture was damaged. A bicycle missing and NO COVID covers were used that were to have been included in quote but later charged for The staff were not professional and driver had one arm in sling due to burns no masks no sanitiser During Feb 2021 I opened a small claims court case for R19082.00 against Tom. After 6 trips to Randburg from Polokwane we were awarded the total claim Tom started to pay in June 2021 R2500.00 by 6 payments then stopped. I even tried to get sheriff to attach furniture for balance but yes that also resulted in a major head ache. First we paid R400 and no service. In December we decided to let all go and take it as a learning curve I learned from this BAD experience to check on hello Peter and pages like this to check on reports this type of work By TOM and Aran International dates back to 2012. So it’s a old trick of his PLEASE people when wanting to move Aran International is a company NEVER to be used. Problem aswell Tom is aware that people will pay the extra amount to get there stuff. And a lot of people have not got the time and money to go to court as it needs to be at the Randburg court in Gauteng so they let it slide. But someone needs to really take this company to task. The way they work is really something. (Wonder why they send credit note for deposit) my option to dodge tax. As they get a payment by say it’s a mistake and yet the credit note is a deduction end of tax year win win a R12000.00 less on there yearly turn over just with me The truck used was so bad and had a paper plate that was so outdated it’s a surprise the traffic departments did not stop them. The expire date was two weeks before the inception date and it was stamped April 2019. They moved me December 2022 🙈 Some reason I kept all mails and watts app messages and plenty of photos reason unknown. In court I had over 200 page info. All Tom arrived with to defend himself was a few notes on a note pad. If people want to take a change I would recommend keep all correspondence until the contract with them is completed to your satisfaction. Good day I am a very unhappy customer I received car on 18 January at Thompsons Pannel Beaters Polokwane Driver arrived no car to take him back to airport. I had to. Today 4 February I had to return car back at Avis location at the Polokwane airport. There was no driver to take me home. We only have one car. Which is still in at Pannel Beaters. I had to walk home it’s around 6km. I am also not a youngster. And we all know what our crime is like This is a bad service on behalf of Avis Regards Gavin Wilson Sent from my iPhone
Unprofessional have answers for the mistakes they and they make the customer look like a fool. Cost me extra money and a wasted trip from Polokwane to JHB
