Took my car for service on the 1st of June 2024. During the day of the service, got a call that I wouldn’t be able to fetch my car because the oil plug needed to be re-threaded. This was an indication of poor workmanship because a plug losing its threads indicates that the plug isn’t replaced or removed properly. The car has only ever been serviced by Motus Zambesi so they are the only ones who have changed my oil…I didn’t raise this issue because I thought it would be sorted and I wasn’t charged for it. BUT , I then took back my car for service on the 18th of July and the same problem occurred again!! But this time I was made to pay for this ,which isn’t fair because (1) This isn’t a wear and tear issue and it’s not caused by my driving. This is solely caused by the guys servicing my vehicle because they are the only ones who change my oil, (2) WHY DID IT NEED RE-THREADING AGAIN, IF IT WAS DONE ON THE PREVIOUS SERVICE . The service agent Elias, notified me when I was fetching my vehicle that this would keep on happening. Which is bull!! Why isn’t the problem being fixed permanently and why am I being charged for them not doing the service properly ?!
