I have received the most appalling treatment from this service provider. My initial encounter was seemingly great as I needed a new motor installed for my garage door. My follow on encounter happened when I reached out because my gate was getting stuck intermittently and the assumption was that there might be a problem with the gate motor. Daton, whom I believe is the owner of the company came by with his assistant and changed the gate motor battery and assured me the problem should be resolved. This was on February 16th. 3 days later, the problem had continued to persist and I reached to report the issue to Daton again. He responded saying "we will come by and check it out for you". This was February 19th and by February 23rd, neither Daton nor anyone from DAMEL had shown up. I sent a follow-up message on February 23rd @1:51pm to confirm when they'd come attend to my gate and Daton responded to say "I'll confirm and let you know soon". That response never came. On Friday March 5th, I sent another message expressing my displeasure, as this was not a favour I was asking for, but rather a service I had paid for and needed him/ them to come and resolve the issue. Daton responded, committing to a day and time, which was meant to be Tuesday, March 9th @8am. When the day and time arrived, once again neither Daton, nor anyone from the company showed up, nor did I receive any message as to why they hadn't, and my issue still persists. I am now forced to find another service provider to come and resolve a matter I have already paid DAMEL for. I am terribly displeased and would not encourage anyone to make use of this company. It is based in the Roodepoort area.
