I used Pentaprop to manage my unit in Cape Town. When Arie asked me to replace the couches the tenant was complaining about, I wired R12,400 to their account. I was assured on several occasions that the couches were purchased and waiting at the supplier. A new tenant moved in with their own furniture. After a year of pressuring Mr Arie Willem Korf for either an invoice of the couches so I could contact the supplier for a refund, or a refund from Pentaprop, Arie said he spent the money on cleaning up the unit. I further pressured Arie for invoices and a breakdown on what the money was actually spent on and got ignored. Another scenario, I paid over R5,555 to settle outstanding rates and taxes which Pentaprop never paid, nor notified me that it was months behind. I had to find out from an old neighbour who was being threatened by a debt collection agency. Pentaprop then paid the rates and taxes from the rental income instead of the money I wired and it's been months now since I requested they refund the money with no luck. Since the new tenant moved in, they moved in with their own furniture and Arie was just like, btw, the new tenant is moving in with their own furniture, I've removed your furniture. Since this place was geared as an AirBnb before, it has everything from curtains to furniture to cutlery, to washing machine, dishwasher, etc. I've been trying to get a list things removed so I could send somebody to liquidate everything. Estimated cost of items removed is ~R40,000, maybe even more if I had to replace it. Since I had to fire Arie and Pentaprop, I've been trying to get them to transfer the tenant's deposit of R20,000 + interest to the new managing agent. So far I've been ignored. One of the things Arie claimed that was done during the cleanup of the unit was removing the dead air-conditioning unit. The new managing agent asked me yesterday what they should do with the dead air-conditioning unit. There are also complaints from the tenant about things Arie said he would fix that I was never notified about, nor was it fixed. 1: I want my R12,400 back 2: I want my R5,555 back 3: I want the tenant's R20,000 deposit + interest refunded 4: I want a list of what was removed and access to where it is stored so I can have it picked up and liquidated, or I'd be happy with R40,000 which should cover a portion of replacement cost of what was in the unit. I'll be pressing ***** charges if this is not resolved soon.
I would like to give them -1 stars Asked for an installation ONLY, then they started deducting money every month. After blocking their debit order and cancelling the whole thing, they send a letter of demand. Taking my business elsewhere!
Unisa has notified my wife that something is wrong with her registration a week before her final exams.
We have both tried emailing and SMSing them to find out what is missing and what is required to fix the registration and if this will affect the exams.
I've personally spent over 5 hours on the phone waiting to get through at the call center, just as I break through to around #15 in the queue, the call gets disconnected or it's 5pm and and the whole system switches off.
Otherwise I keep on hearing, your call is #18 in the queue, then suddenly it jumps to #25, then #17 again.
This is unacceptable!
Just a big thanks to Eric (I'm assuming Eric a natural person and not the whole support team) for quick responses to my questions and having the development team modify their scrapers / software on accounts I had, but wasn't yet supported.
