I took my volvo xc90 to pfs to assist me in checking why the engine was making a noise similar to a barring knock. Firstly they tried to remove my sump which they failed dismally in doing thus damaging my fuel lines running under the engine, every bolt and nut they removed they didn't replace, the removed my oil cooler and battery which cost R3500 and R 1900 respectively. I asked them to wait while I try to get a nee engine cheaper at the price they quoted me for. While in search of an engine they contacted me and asked i come fetch my vehicle as i will b charged storage i informed them I will only b able to fetch the vehicle after 4pm, I was asked to make payment before vehicle was fetched and to pick up keys as there work shop will b closed by 4pm so I arranged for that to b done when I arrived to fetch vehicle I assumed battery dead from standing so long so I contacted owner and asked can I tow vehicle while battery dead, I was told there won't b an issue. When I arrived home with the vehicle I wanted to charge battery and found no battery in my boot I contacted owner he claimed they never removed ny battery and that it must have been stolen while outside even thou business is in a secured office park I tried opening a case but 1 2 3 the police have no record of the case, when getting my vehicle repaired they find all nuts for sump engine stabilizer bars ntn was replaced oil cooler is missing as well. Tried contacting the owner in relation to the oil cooler as I was there when I was removed n saw them removing it, entire workshop was checked but no cooler now owner says I must take the invoice to the mechanic who removed it and have him pay for the part. All in all one company I dont see lasting with the manner in which they do business, the lady in Hargett if this workshop knows ntn what happens in her doors and when u ask her anything she says speak to the owner, the ownerr inter says he is going to ask her.... he says she says stuff my opinion this is why they loosing so many clients and mechanics come and go
