Disgusting service Belvedere Retirement Villages
Sadly, I see that people have been having problems with Belvedere since 2017 and nothing has got any better. Both my parents passed away last year, with a life rights agreement on a property at Bushy Park. Despite new people purchasing the property and moving in in October 2021, we have still not received any payment from them. They either ignore all emails or have a whole lot of excuses! What a great business they have - sell the property and keep the money hence receiving payment on the same property many times over. Surely some sort of governing body should be taking them to task!

Hassle free uif a scam
My husband passed away from Covid in July 2020. His employer told me that I could claim death benefit UIF. Because of everything that I was dealing with at the time I contacted Hassle Free UIF to see if they could assist. They assured me they could and I sent them all the necessary documents as well as the fee they charged for their services. They told me that it could take 18 months to be sorted. They even went as far as giving me the name of the Assesor that was dealing with my claim. For the last four months they have not responded to my emails or messages. When the 18 month mark was reached I contacted the department of labour who have informed me that they would not have been able to do the claim on my behalf and that I have been scammed by them. It takes a special kind of unscrupulous person to scam someone who has been recently widowed!

Dont use Hassle Free UIF
I contacted Hassle Free last year August regarding a UIF claim iro my husband who passed away in July from Covid, and paid them R690 for this service. Initially - up to Feb - they were coming back to me and said they were following up. Since then they have not responded to me repeated emails, Facebook messages and WhatsApp messages nor are their phones being answered. I now have no way of knowing if they have submitted the claim, who they have been dealing with or how to follow up! It would appear that they have taken my money and “run”!
