I placed an order for a signal booster unit around three years ago from Mobile Repeater South Africa for over R6500. after trying to reach them on numerous occasions without success both via email as well as their telephone numbers displayed on their website I eventually got my unit around 5 weeks later! this was not without problems at customs on clearances. on December the 19th of 2017 I placed an order for an antenna from the same company as I needed a compatible unit for my already existing unit. firstly they gave me the wrong banking details and had to refund me. after giving me further banking details, to which I paid R2125 rand to, R125 was for the flat rate shipping in South Africa. on the website they advertised my unit to be in stock. I found that R125 was a fair price for shipping in SA, so didn't question anything. eventually I received an email from them with the AWB# for FedEx that my unit was shipping from China. I couldn't understand this as the unit was showing in stock on the South African site. now once again the package has been held in customs on the 11th of January due to paperwork issues. I can only think that the Commercial Invoice is incorrect and there are either VAT or import duties issues. This is in my opinion very unprofessional and I would have thought that when contacting Mobile Repeater South Africa, someone from their offices would be able to assist me. instead I have to leave messages every time for one particular person who still after the 3rd attempt in getting hold of doesn't return my calls or emails. today is the 15th of January 2018 and my package is still stuck in customs!
I found this company on the web. They were very quick to come out and look at my washing machine. After telling me the motor was gone I had to pay a 50% deposit of R2449 for them to fix it. I went ahead and to date I'm still waiting for them to show to fix my machine. They are no longer takin my calls. I'm worried my R1300 is now gone!!
