The MedEasy crash course helped me a lot with refreshing my memory of the contents we did 6 months prior to the dissection. I particularly felt that it helped me with the first interim test as I: (I) went through the contents done during the crash course session and focused more on what’s in the notes. This helped me as each region has so much work that I’m not sure what are high yielding questions or what’s more important to focus on. During the sessions Nazneen and her colleagues will emphasise what the lecturers like to ask and what’s important and not so important. (II) got some practice with the spot questions at the end of the session, though they’re taken from the MacMim’s textbook, they go through the pictures and also explain how each structure relates to each other. The MedEasy crash course also helped me with the preparation for the upcoming dissection as they do give some advise with dissection and what to expect with respectively to each region. There are also some active learning and not just revising during the session which I appreciate, I.e., in the notes they include a blank page and we’d follow and draw out the azygous vein, outline of the superior orbital fissure and its contents etc. I would recommend the crash course to to anyone especially those who finds anatomy a bit challenging at times like me.
