Crawdaddys Trichardt - incompetent staff

Upon arrival we had poor service, food was okay but when the bill arrived the waiter swiped my card only to have the machine state that the transaction was declined, sms came through that funds were taken. Waiter informed me that the transaction was declined and that the funds will be returned and that i need to swipe again in order to pay the bill. My card was swiped again and once again the machine stated that the transaction was declined but a few seconds later the second notification went though on my phone of funds deducted. He then stated that his manager needs to check whats going on but according to him it was unsuccessful again... HIs manager arrived with a second machine and stated that if the money wasn't returned he would have it sorted out and returned to my account the next day... once again my card got swiped and the third try got approval confirmation and a third deduction was made on my account... almost a week later and having excuses every time i contact them a R600 bill cost me R1800 and the additional R1200 deducted has still not been returned. The issue hasn't been resolved and management doesn't worry because it's not their problem. I will never visit the crawdaddys restaurants and would never recommend them to anyone. They are pathetic with no integrity and empty promises.
