My dad was admitted for treatment for "5 days" then it grew into 12 days, now all of a sudden its 21 days. There is NO transparency, NO honesty, and NO communication and NO integrity from doctor to patient, nor doctor to loved ones of the patient! Why 21 days, instead of only 5? He was admitted with no explanation of what treatment he was receiving, and every day they were pumping blood and meds into his body. The doctor avoids the family, and never returns calls, her receptionist refers the family to find out from the "nurse on duty" and the nurse just says "I am waiting on the doctor!" Because it's February, they are simply milking the medical aid and keeping him in the hospital much longer than necessary. The doctor never says what his condition is and from what we can see, since treatment, my dad is just going downhill. SHOCKING!!! On speaking to other patients, they said 21 days means chemo therapy ... which is nothing we agreed to - we were not even asked! Beware of this hospital - they take advantage of the elderly and the medical aid! Does one need to go to the medical board to find out what is happening to the patients? Because no one in the hospitals help anyone. Are these doctors untouchable - ???
FRUSTRATING!!! I bought a Hoover vacuum cleaner, and it worked for all of 10 seconds, then died completely. To get Game Galleria to pick it up and replace it is a pathetic attempt. They leave you on hold for longer than 20 minutes, then just slam the phone down in your ear. No one ever phones me back or tries to help me. Absolutely ***********! I am told the online people will deal with it, but no one ever comes back to me!
Hennie's in Boksburg is awesome! The service is excellent and their food is top-class. The whole ambiance of the restaurant is vibey, fun, and light. You may not be caught drinking with your right hand, stick to the left hand! Their prices are good and their chilli sauces are to die for! I am from Wellington, Cape Town and my brother from Johannesburg introduced me to Hennie's - only to find out there is a Hennie's in Paarl! So Ill be visiting there SOON! Well done guys, I loved it.
What a lovely shopping experience. The staff is friendly, they can answer any questions you may have about the products being sold. They clean the products beautifully and work efficiently. My purchase was only R1800 but they treated me the same as if my purchase was R18000 or more. The assistant never got tired of me asking to see other earrings before I made the decision of which ones to purchase. I was also pleasantly surprised by their range of products available and will return there in the new year to spoil myself again!
The Bed Centre, in Montague and Paarl - what fantastic service! It was an effortless purchase. They delivered when they said they would, they walked with the base all the way down my steep driveway, carried it inside, removed the plastic and cardboard, and stuck the legs on. They removed the rubble along with my old base which will be donated. Nothing was too much effort! And the bed feels wonderful! I can highly recommend The Bed Centre - thank you to Devona and the team!
I euthanised my cat this morning 10/12/24 because he had blood cancer - the staff of SPCA in Wellington are compassionate, kind, friendly, and sensitive to the need of people saying goodbye to their beloved pets. It was a peaceful experience.
We had our staff year-end function at Corner Deck Brackenfell. The food was excellent, the service brilliant, and the speed of delivery tops. No order was incorrectly delivered or had to be sent back, everything was on par and high standard. I live too far to go there regularly, but if I am in the area, will definitely go again. I can highly recommend this restaurant.
I bought a Brother Sewing Machine, it sews like a dream. A beautiful, proudly Japanese product. Easy to unbox, thread, bobbin wind and sew in different stitches. Thank you, I love it!
The worst courier company ever! Don't waste your time using them. I placed an order through LOOT. At 07:00 this morning I was notified by RAM that my parcel is on the way TODAY before 17:00. After six (6) calls to RAM, and waiting the whole day at my office for the delivery, the driver dares to call the RAM office and say I WAS NOT AVAILABLE to receive the package! I have witnesses that I was waiting all day, to no avail. The customer service does not care about the customer at all - they leave you on hold and never call you back. SHOCKING SERVICE, IN FACT NO SERVICE AT ALL. It is no wonder LOOT is losing popularity, with other online businesses delivery is fast and efficient.
I am so disappointed in Discovery Health Flexicare Plus - I took out a policy and all has been well up until last month. I moved my money out of my normal banking account into my pocket account forgetting Flexicare's stop order. So obviously it bounced. Within the hour I paid it manually and emailed the proof of payment, then phoned them to make sure they got it. Their stupid chatbot gave me the wrong Discovery bank account details so they had to do an internal transfer to allocate it to my account. So, they SUSPENDED me, even though it was paid! Nonetheless, they have never done the internal transfer nor unsuspended me one month later. This morning I discovered they have taken a double payment stop order! How ***********! Now I must wait 5 working days for my money back, which they have all along for 5 weeks already. And has my account being unsuspended? Who knows! Communication from them is non-existent. When you phone the staff are very understanding and kind - but ZERO follow up, ZERO communication to let you know what is going on. Shocking! And their chatbot is absolutely useless! A very frustrating experience indeed.
