Money to top up on an existing investment was deposited to Old Mutual in January 2021. To date the funds have not been allocated to the clients investment account, now no one can account for those funds, even after submitting more than 4 times the requested documentation to prove the transaction. Furthermore, the client can not be provided with balances on her current investment. Many attempts to get assistance have been unattended. Many complaints lodged but no action. if the client stops seeking assistance, that means R50 000 has just been paid to them for nothing and they see that as treating their customers correctly.
