I would like to share my experience renewing my driver’s license at the RMTC in Centurion on Wednesday, 18 February 2026. For the first time in a very long time, I had an absolutely wonderful experience with the renewal process. I arrived after work at around 16:40 and was greeted warmly before being directed to the enquiries desk. Two gentlemen were assisting there. One asked if I had an appointment — I didn’t — and then asked whether I had a copy of my ID. When I rep**** no, he kindly offered to make a copy for me. He then handed it to the gentleman seated next to him, who asked if I required a temporary license. I said yes, and they promptly provided me with the necessary form along with the ID copy. After completing the form, I was guided to a seating area. I had barely sat down when another staff member called me through for the eye test and photographs. Once the exam and photos were completed, I proceeded to payment. I was then given my temporary driver’s license and informed that I would receive an SMS within 8–10 weeks when the new card is ready for collection. From the moment I walked in to the moment I returned to my car, the entire process took just 15 minutes. I want to commend all the staff at RMTC Centurion for their friendliness, helpfulness, and exceptional efficiency. It was a truly positive experience, and I would gladly recommend the institution to anyone. Great job, team!
I would just like to understand how can you have insufficient funds to pay an online payment, when the bank reserve your payment and take it off your available balance, so there is sufficient funds otherwise your transaction get declined, then you receive an sms say “You have insufficient funds for the payment? Do not understand?????
