Extremely unprofessional and prideful when approached through virtual communications, this should serve as a warning to unsuspecting individuals. Unfortunately how I first heard of this company was a shock when they started taking money from my savings account with 2 debit orders in 1 month and after some back and forth, the bank gave me their contact information because I had no idea who it was. I am supposed to now give them more of my personal information in order for them to “cancel” policies that I never signed up for to begin. I want my money back but moreover I want to stop them. Such a shame and everyone scammed by this company should come forward as I will be escalating my complaint.
To say I am disappointed and regret banking with Capitec is an understatement. Apparently the "dispute debit orders" is a joke! They offered to call the unknown people who were able to steal all the money that was just deposited into my savings account, that's within 48 hours of notifying this Capitec bank. How can you just offer to call scammers as if they will be interested to negotiate with Capitec?? How did you let this happen, why is your security weak, because I never authorized these debit orders that cleaned my account under your watch? I demand to get contact information of whoever you work with that stole from my savings account. And, due to this misfortune I have missed an important payment and I will take this matter further! Stop stealing from poor people.
