Pieter Bellingan from X Factor Elecrical and Solar visited me in Dec and after doing due diligence via websites like Snupit and HelloPeter and calling some of his references I paid 70% of the quote R 89 600 over to Pieter. He undertook to attend to the installation and supply the necessary materials and indicated that the job would be completed by the beginning of January 2022. This however never transpired. Until today I have not received any work, parts or refund and have made payment of a substantial amount of money without having received any benefit. It is clear that he never had the intention to attend to the installation and utilized the funds not for what it was paid for. Subsequently I have asked for attorney assistance and after letters from them I have opened a criminal case against Pieter and X Factor Electrical and Solar at the Brackenfell Police station. Pieter has undertaken to both myself and the attorneys that he would repay the money fraudulently obtained, however, no such repayment has been forthcoming. From my experience I would not use or recommend Pieter to any friend or family member as it is clear that he does not have any intention of attending to the installation promised, however, he accepts money without doing any work.
