****mers. Take your deposit. Then request full payment prior to delivery of car. Then on day of delivery, all of a sudden they forgot to add VAT...you must pay prior to delivery...all details they give are *****ulent, false VAT number, this business name is use as a front, they use ****** IDs...AVOID

Woolworths horrible at communication
I have been a loyal client (& account holder) of Woolworths for many years. Last year (towards the end of the year) I was extremely busy at work - I work for the SAPS. I literally forgot pay my Woolworths account - the strange thing was that I received NO communication about it, NO emails, no SMSes, nothing! It would have helped me to remember. The last statement email I received from Woolworths was on 14.03.2023. The only smses I received is to tell me how much I have available to spend. I only became aware of the problem when I tried renewing my Woolworths card at a branch because it was not working for months. I was called behind the counter to talk to a VERY rude woman informing me that my account is overdue. We made an arrangement, and I made a payment via my bank card and again on 02.01.2024, on 07.02.2024 and 20.02.2024. I have no way of knowing my current balance since I do not receive statements. HOWEVER, this morning I checked my credit score on Experian only to find that I have been "defaulted" by Woolworths. Woolworths this is such bad service, I would have liked to be INFORMED when I am in arrears...as it was not done on purpose!

OLD MUTUAL CAN'T CANCEL POLICIES???
The Old Mutual branch at the Pavilion Westville Durban has staff that are untrained and unwilling to assist with enquiries. My brother & I went there on 14/03 to cancel his policy. To date it has not been cancelled/ paid our, inspite of us going into the branch 3 (THREE) times to find out if there are any issues!!! Surely cancelling a policy should not be this challenging???? They said 14 working days?!? So disappointed...I have other policies with OM, but Im dreading to the day when it has to pay out / I want to cancel it...I do not know what to do next. My brother has left for a job overseas & needed the monies....eish OM!!!
