Travelled with the airline to and from Lanseria. Everything worked like clockwork, from booking online to downloading their app to paperless boarding and travel. The interior of the aircraft is neat, the cabin crew are very neat in their branded clothes and themselves as well as very friendly. A passenger close to me ordered a snack only to find his credit card had expired and the service is totally cashless, i.e. the flight attendant could not accept cash. After serving other passengers the attendant returned and offered a snack to the passenger which he gratefully accepted. That is service above and beyond the call of duty but that is the kind of treatment that a passenger will never forget. I do not know her name but it was flight FA 352 from Lanseria to CTIA on 10 February 2025.
This was not all that recent. On 30 May 2024 I went online to purchase RegimA product for my wife that she had been having some difficulty finding in stores. BKind.co.za popped up and according to their inventory they had the exact product in store so I went ahead and placed an order and made payment for delivery within 5 days. Needless to say the product never arrived. I contacted RegimA who had not heard of BKind.co.za and then I had an email exchange with BKind.com who responded and indicated they did not have a branch in SA. I then reported it to the SAPS but I have heard nothing since. BKind.co.za ****s you out of money while leaving bad impression of other online business like RegimA and BKind.com......
The website advertises products made from ethically sources ingredients which is positive but after ordering a product it became clear that the site is a **** with a response to say that the order number is ***x and from there absolutely nothing, no tracking details, etc. Going deeper into the site it then shows that there is no information and the site developer is no longer in existence. Contacted the brand whose product was bought and the response was a categorical "no" that the site is not and agent for their products. I believe the site should be closed.
With winter approaching I wanted roof repair advice that I got online and decided on Flash Harry who have a branch in Blackheath. Checked business hours and not open on weekends. Does not say that they don't do business with the public. Here comes the rub though - walk through the warehouse to find someone - "We don't sell to the public but Buco close-by carries our products" Go to Buco and salesperson assists. March through the entire Buco Blackheath warehouse-sized shop to be taken to the paint counter only to be informed they don't carry stock but stock can be had close-by. So assistant didn't know that they don't carry stock which is unfortunate, could've brought me straight to the paint counter. Anyway, ask where I can get it and want to leave but no, I must pay at Buco and take the slip along to collect the product. Where do I have to go and collect - Flash Harry, Blackheath!!! Both clerks at Flash Harry and the paint desk at Buco were anything but cordial, treating me like a simpleton so now I have the product but I will not be returning to either establishment in future even though I am only a DIY customer.
Ordered products that I could not source elsewhere. Put in the order on Thursday and the goods arrived 9 on Monday with goods traveling from Gauteng to Cape Town. Commendable service.
