Deeply Disappointed by Incorrect Qualification Verification
I am deeply disappointed with the manner in which Funda Institute has handled my query regarding the incorrect NQF levels reflected in my MIE (Managed Integrity Evaluation) credential verification results. I completed the following qualifications through Funda Institute and received official certificates for each: • Comprehensive Mining Safety Officer Course (COMSOC 1) – NQF Level 4 • Comprehensive Mining Safety Officer Course (COMSOC 2) – NQF Level 5 • Occupational Health and Safety Short Course – NQF Level 5 However, during a recent verification process conducted by MIE, these qualifications were incorrectly reflected as NQF Level 2 instead of their correct NQF Levels 4 and 5. This discrepancy is extremely serious and has raised significant concerns regarding the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of the records maintained by Funda Institute, as well as the verification processes followed by MIE. It is completely unacceptable for a training provider and verification agency to have conflicting information relating to nationally recognised qualifications, particularly when such errors can negatively affect employment opportunities, professional credibility, and career progression. Incorrect qualification verification carries serious consequences and should therefore be treated with the urgency, professionalism, and accountability it deserves. I formally raised this matter and provided all supporting documentation, including copies of my certificates and qualification details. Despite this, Funda Institute has failed to provide any meaningful response, clarification, or corrective action. The lack of communication, accountability, and urgency shown in resolving such a serious verification error is highly unprofessional, unacceptable, and deeply disappointing.
