Terrible service. Moved about 20 furniture pieces of which half was damaged. They drove the truck into my dining room table and refuse to take responsibility for their actions, claiming the paved road on which they drove caused the driver to drive into the table. The employees at the incident claim the driver was making a joke and tried to make a joke when the accident happened. The damage was reported by the employees, but still management refuse to take responsibility. Numerous fragile marked boxes were damaged and stacked in a way where damage was inevitable. Bed side tables also both damaged and truck was so dirty, that most items had to be professionally cleaned after the move. Will not recommend them for any move.
I made a reservation at a place called Mussa Lounge in Paarl, Western Cape and made full payment. The place does not exist however and it's a scam. I tried phoning the property, emailing them and there is no reply. At the address is just an open field with no buildings in sight. When I phoned Bookings.com to get a refund, they just keep telling me that there is a cancellation fee which they will only refund if the property (Mussa Lounge) authorizes it via e-mail, and obviously that won't happen, since Mussa Lounge doesn't exist. It is extremely frustrating, since I has to book a new place upon my arrival in Paarl and now have lost the money needed to pay for the new reservation to a fraudulant property. Does Booking.com not check that the properties they list actually exist? Eventhough I phoned Booking.com yesterday to tell them that this property is a scam and eventhough other clients also wrote on the site that this property is a fraud, they have still not removed the property off their site, and the customer care still says the property isn't listed as a scam. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO GET A REFUND? My Confirmation number: 3424.079.107
