Do not hire Bartlett and Associates
Shaz Bartlett and Associates in my opinion are terrible lawyers. She does not answer calls, messages or emails. Does not provide feedback on work, there is never proof of documentation, she makes excuse after excuse and baits you to make payments with the promise to send proof of work done. I cancelled my services with her on the 28th May 2022 and till this day she refuses to send through the statement or final account to show how my twenty odd thousand rand was spent. She misleads and says she has secured a court date but fails to provide stamped and verified documentation to prove there is a date to appear. She charges you for work she has not done and when you cancel your services with her she does not send through a statement or final account and you can forget about receiving your file. I am now unable to pick up where I left off with another attorney as they require a letter from Shaz stating that she no longer represents me and I have no file of work done. I feel scammed and angry and frustrated. As a law professional how is this allowed to happen...

Fraudster and Liar, absolute scum
If I could give a negative rating I would... The absolute worst lawyer, fraudulent, liar, deceitful... she takes advantage of you when you are at your lowest and put your trust and confidence in her. She baits you to make payment after payment but can never produce any proof of work. It is actually disgusting and shocking that she is still allowed to operate as an attorney... if you have been unfortunate like me, and hired her then you need to have her reported to the law association ASAP.... this woman needs to be disbarred and thrown in jail... scum of the earth!!!!
