So, my wife was travelling to Australia 8th August, so part of her traveling was to ensure she was covered for any medical emergencies. Discovery is my medical aid so I got the necessary forms and filled them in, great covered. A few days after she had landed in Australia she had the misfortune of chewing on something and broke her tooth. A dentist was in urgent need because of the pain etc. She went, I paid via her nephew who paid in Australian Dollar. Dentists are super expensive in Australia, so I've found out. So this is where everything went wrong, I physically went and submitted all the paperwork at Discovery in Sandton main branch. I then also submitted the same paperwork on line via email. I received confirmation and was expecting a response with in more or less 10 days later. Yet to no avail having been back twice and empty promises by Louren and others, that I would be contacted the same day before 5pm... Just like everyone else that has made promises from Discovery and yet nothing has been done about my claim, let alone to get a call back. But at the end of the month when I need to pay for my Medical Aide it happens without a blink of an eye. Absolutely disgusting that I've got to make trips on empty promises and broken promises about my case been escalated to high importance... yet no one is doing anything about it.
I've been shooting at with an amazing team from HOA for a few years now and besides the personal attention and friendly bunch of Archers, it is a place I can relax and enjoy my sport of Archery. I have now got my Provincial Colours and am going for my National colours this year. What a awesome bunch of guys using Traditional methods of training, with brilliant results both personal and with my shooting..
