Stolen stuff at bossa

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND I WONT PROBABLY EVER GO AGAIN. My boyfriend and I sat at the bar for a late afternoon outing. We literally sat and talked over a bottle of bubbly when his phone got stolen from the counter by someone. This we confirmed watching the footage (that we weren't allowed t watch, but i suspect that it could be one of the barmen). According to the manager, a guy walked passed us, as we were chatting and then casually stole the phone(that was laying in front of him) . The manager went looking for the guy who was then long gone. What upsets me the most is that we specifically go to that bar, because we enjoy it and feel safe. But now bossa is just like all the less mediocre bars and clubs where stuff gets stolen and you have to be on a lookout for sketchy people who might just steal or pickpocket your stuff. I'm really disgusted that this one place, where we used enjoy late-afternoon drinks has become this. Truly upset
