Fireplace City - Terrible after sales service (stay away for your own good)

Good service and assistance during the sales process. Unfortunately things goes downhill from there when they send their incompetent installer. Ended up looking for a new installer to finish the job. I have given their installer (Andre) free rein to do whatever is necessary to make it waterproof. However, his incompetence is clear in his communication with me asking ME to suggest to HIM what he should do. I mean really, isn’t he supposed to be the expert?? I told him make it waterproof but clearly, he is out of his depth. The owner is clearly conflicted by your personal relationship with the installer. The installer has been to my house exactly twice and each time I had to listen to him explaining how he is best mates with Vaughn – the owner/manager. Not a very professional working relationship if you ask me. My suggestion to future clients - stay away until they employ professional and capable subcontractors to do installations.
