I reached out to Discovery Bank many months ago to address the selfie isue, but I have got no further. So now I want to close my Discovery Bank account, but what do I need? A selfie. So I would like to know: Isn't there a way they can just close my account? They also didn't want to change the payment of my medical aid; they force me to do it through them. So I am done with this! All they did, was saying sorry they take so long and that was nearly 3 months ago.
I hope this is the last time I have to deal with this! discovery bank still didn't respont to my request to remove the selfie from my account. I am blind and can't use the selfie, full stop. But momths have past and stil no respnse, ponly an apologieze for being so useless. Really, this thing must end today! I can't understnad why they just can't give an altirnative way of verifying me; seems like it is impossible. And the ask future is as toalking to some one who can't communicate. And when I call, what do they want? A selife!
I am so tired of this selfie. Please explain to me how a blind peRSON must take a selfie?? I had a hard working person, which deserved to be apid, now I can't, because of this subjective thought of security, ful stop, no thinking of blind people, or people who can't hold a phone still. I will continue to ask for an option to disactiveate this TILL you do it!! Anyway, ********s bypass it so easily by using a photo. All I am pleading for allow me to DISACTIVATE THE SELIFE!! It is simply not good enough that nothing can be done!!
I am pleaeding for disactivating the selfie future on my account; it is simply impossitlbe for me to use it with my little sight. Capitec didn't bother me for almost a year now, when sudenly today again ask for this discuting thing blidn people simplyy cAN'T use.
I am done with discovery bank. The selfie stoped me from enjoyng my banking experience and I constantly need hep to do transactons. Now, to crown it all, they stopped my own device from working with my own account@. Pelase guys, just relax! There is no ***** on my account!@. It is me trying to get around your disgusting, silly selfie, whcih you seemed to can't disactivate! Pelse re-activate my account and relax! I want to leave as soon as posible!
I like Discovery Bank's app and the while outset. BUT I am stuck with the selfie feature. I want to add my voice to those who complain. I mean, it's obvious: I am visually impaired, so I can't use the selfie, full stop. I don't wanna hear it is for my safety and secure; it is so secure that even I myself can't do my own banking! I can't login to online banking, I can't even ad a ricipient, for I need this terrible selfie. No blind person can use this, full stop. And they have a complaint evail, but it is only for existing emails. I really can't understand why they could jsut send met an OTP, or even allow me to use my pin. For with this selfie, I am afraid I would have to close my account if there is no way to side step this ... I rate the 3, because they are great. But if I would have to rate the selife, I won't give it one star. It is simply impossible for me tu use, full stop.
More than just a music equipment shop. They have what I am struggling to find elsewhere, service. And not just service, fantastic service! All they care about is the satisfaction of their customers, NOT about how much money they can make. Their products are solid and they are always willing to lower the price if it is possible. If I find a product for a few bugs more, I will rather buy at Sound Of Ministry than paying less and get no service. Once they were the only music shop who responded to a request I had for a product and I am afraid this didn't change a lot yet. I highly recommend them!
I ordered an Epiphone Less Paul Spcial II from this shop on the 7th of September. It is now the 18th at the time of this review and, yes, that's true, I didn'tyet recieve my guitar. Worse of all, they didn't even respond to my email for a refund. 7 days after purchase, can't apply here, I mean, I didn't yet receive a thing! That's their responsibility. I spoke to a guy twice, who said on last week Wednesday taht they can't get the Special II, but have the Special I ... Well, interesting, Gibson themselves, who did respond to my email, informed me they do still make the Specula II I Icons didn't yet remove the Specula II from their site, so the next guy will just have to deal with this same terrible stuff The guy at Icons told me on Monday my guitar will arrive in a few hours and then they will ship it to me. Well, here I am, on Wednesday, still no sisng, no info, nothing. If i could give the 0 stars, I would be happy, because this is not bad service, it is NO service at all!! I will never buy at them again - don't know if they even read emails. I am used to 1 to 2 days of service at hte place I usually buy. First impressions matters; customer service is more important than money!!
