Unable to make contact

I ordered a Bunkbed from George Putsakizikokala (BunkbedSA) in August 2022. I called hom on his mobile phone several times and found him to be friendly and helpful. I received an invoice from him and paid the full amount plus courier costs into his FNB Randburg Account. I have called him, sent an e-mail, left a message on his website Bunkbed SA, to enquire about the order, without success. I’m afraid I might have been scammed, but something in my gut says something else is going on.
