Morgenhof Wine Estate
Myself and my sister went on previous occassions to Morgenhof . We ordered their Cheese Platter and Antipasto Platter . Both was excellent . So our kids decided to take us out for Breakfast for Mothers Day . What a ******* experience. Myself and my sister decided to order platters because it was so nice the last time we was there. On 14 May Mothers Day they obviously did not have any of the mentioned items for platters available. In stead of just tell us it will not possible to do platters on Mothers day they decided to put together a lot of bread . 3 half a thumb cheeses . Two of the cheeses was the same. Few Biscuits but lots of bread . No peanuts . 3 pieces of dried apricot. No Biltong Pate . No Fig PRESERVE. The antipasto platter was even worst . Again 2 very small very small pieces of cheese . 3 pieces of very cheap beef polony Nothing else of the other items mentioned on the menu. No Breadsticks . No Buffalo Mozarella . No Bacon wrapped Jalapenos. Myself and my sister was actually shock with the 3 platters they dish up without any shyness. (Total amount of almost R500) As mentioned our kids took us out for mother's day. They was so excited. So we decide not to hurt their feelings and just keep quiet in stead of ruining our Mothers Day . The Monday I contact your Events Manager. Apparently Meryke was the person i need to speak to. I explained to her our that WE DID NOT GET AT ALL the various items as specified under your platter menu. In her way of speaking i could immediately sense that she is not really interested. But she will speak to the kitchen staff . She promise to come back to me. 3 days later no reply. Then i once again said to her that to pay almost R500 for bread , 3 pieces of very small pieces of cheese and 3 pieces of some cheap beef polony is not fair. Than i got a mail from her. She did speak to kitchen staff . That they must keep platters always the same. And she will invite me back very soon. This soon are already 6 weeks later. Maybe Meryke does not work hard for her money. But myself and our kids work very hard for our money. Now i do understand why such a beautiful picture perfect view have so little clients on mother's day while the rest of all the wine estates in Stellenboch region was all fully booked. I would not recommend Morgenhof Wine Estate to any one. our so called platters served on Mothers day was plain *****ing of money. I do hope that their General Manager Sharlotte Naidu will reply to this review. Cause Meryka Meyer was not interested to come back to me with a reasonable solution to my complaint.

I have ordered from them in August personalized Christmas ***** . It is now 6 December and i haven't received my order. I have tried several times the last 2 months and 6 days to find out about my order, They don't come back to me with any feedback. They only once emailed . Team 3 must look where my order is and they will come back to me. Team 3 never came back to me. I mailed them yesterday again . I what's up them. Once again no reply whatso ever. I paid R445 for my Christmas decorations,
