Extremely Disappointed

We had the worst experience at Kremetart Bistro in Hartbee****rt. We booked our spot two months in advance for a special event. A week before the event, we confirmed the number of guests, only to be told that they had no record of our booking. After some back and forth, they admitted it was their mistake and assured us that our reservation was still in place. However, when we arrived to set up before our guests arrive, we were shocked to find that our booked area had been given to someone else. We were forced into a cramped, unsuitable space that could barely accommodate our guests. To make matters worse: Tables were dirty – covered in cookie crumbs and coffee spills. The floors were not cleaned. The urn water was filthy, with floating debris inside. This lack of preparation and cleanliness was embarrassing. I felt ashamed welcoming our guests into such an environment. Additionally, the event that took place in our originally booked area was loud, crowded, and disruptive. A microphone was used for speeches, and our guests struggled to hear anything during our own gathering. Overall, this was a completely unprofessional and disappointing experience. I would not recommend Kremetart Bistro to anyone looking for a venue for a small or private event.
