I’m certainly not happy with the service we received at VW constatia kloof. The dealer sold my Dad a stolen vehicle. Below is the email that explains what transpired. The sad part is that there was no sense of accountability from the Sales leaders at the dealership. We arrived there to state our complaint of which they were already aware of from the weekend the incident happened. Only an hour later we were attended to just only because we forced that a sales leader by the name of Mathew to come through and assist us. The sales principal Sibu as well was present and still he was notified of the incident from the beginning and he failed to even contact us back. Though Joe who is the sales person was informed and tried to mitigate the situation, this was beyond his scope of duty. Currently we are without a car, we have been paying monthly instalments for a stolen vehicle, that’s insurance involved and on top of that all we get from the sales team is that they have to trace how the vehicle came about from the previous owner etc. I really don’t appreciate this, if we were arrested on that weekend as the police advise, today there would have been a criminal record on my dads name. VW is a reputable company and for what we received from this dealership is absolutely disappointing. I encountered the most humiliating situation on Saturday, 28th January after been stopped by the policemen - They informed the motor vehicle purchased from your dealership is allegedly stolen – Case number:Bedfordview SAPS 277-07-2018 and this was impounded at SAP 13 Lenasia with reference number:SAP13/311/2023.
