I ordered a silver/gold set of earrings, but received 3pairs of cheap-looking earrings instead. I have contacted the supplier numerous times, but just get the same generic response, asking for information that I have already sent them. Ad claims to be a store in Seapoint run by Helena and her husband that is closing down, yet when you order, the items are sent from a warehouse in China. Business is Fashion Prime LLC in the United States.
I bought a puzzle from Braam in April for my son's birthday. It cost R500 and we were very excited to witness the end product. However, my son informed me that he had not framed the completed puzzle, as the picture was lifting off the cardboard. I contacted Braam and apprised him of the situation, but he was clearly not interested as he just kept on repeating that they purchase the best cardboard possible. Eventually, when pressed, he told me to buy some glue and stick the picture back on. This item was not cheap, and I would have expected better service. I love the idea of being able to convert pictures to puzzles, but after Braam's response to my complaint, I will definitely not be buying any more puzzles from Picture to Puzzle
I came across this person on Marketplace George, she calls herself Miss-Lisa Fourie. She was advertising Rebounder trampolines. I reached out to her and she immediately sent me her WhatsApp number. Shortly after that she phoned me and sounded very convincing. She is Afrikaans and assured me that she was legit, her words were " Tannie, ek en jy gaan n lang pad saamloop, Ek sal nie tannie drop nie." She then explained that I had to first transfer the R1508 to her bank, she would then place the order for the rebounder and I should have it in 10 days. She went on to mention the courier and even sent me a screenshot of where they were located. However, once she had acknowledged that she had received the funds she communicated with me only when I sent her a message enquiring on the status of my order. Over Christmas, she sent a verbal message saying that there had been so many orders that there would be some delay. To date (end of January), I have not received my order and she is no longer responding to my messages. I have laid a charge of ***** with the police after asking that she return my money and receiving no response. This individual also advertises on Facebook to sell items, including a rebounder, her name is Leonie Fourie. BEWARE THIS IS A ****!
This online company pretends to be a South African company based in Cape Town and has a .co.za email address however they are in China. You cannot reach them by phone and now the emails are bouncing back as undeliverable. The goods they sell are substandard. The website is still active but I believe that this is a scam.
