Despite several efforts - including calling the call centre, I am still waiting for a response from Discovery Insure. My monthly driving as according to Discovery includes 14 hours of driving between 11 am and 4am - I do not drive during this time; a calculation of many kilometres of long distance driving monthly - I haven’t done long distance driving in years, AND an unusually and hard to believe high number for hard braking. Despite querying this data via both email and call centre, and asking for data verification, I have not received any response. Considering the high monthly premiums paid, I would have expected more responsive communication.
It’s been 8 months since Craig has done our wooden floors. What a disappointment- used incorrect colour of blocks, only one coat ( not two as quoted and paid for, no fillers and the list is endless). But requested 90% payment before he started the job and demanded the remaining 10% without addressing any he snag list. Contracted through my builder. Use this service provider at your peril. Poor workmanship and follow-up. Blocked my number and refuses to take calls despite several attempts to communicate with him. Basically a *******, another chance taker .
Unbelievable - Discovery has really lost my vote for efficiency and dependability. I’ve been waiting for an international deposit which had been done on 7th December and I’m still being given the run around. This is my salary and now the deposit is apparently untraceable. No return call from management despite repeated requests to have a call back. And of course being placed on hold, at my cellphone expense. I have been calling them so often - and no resolve. But I am sure I will be penalised for not paying my credit card at the end of the month due to insufficient funds - Discovery please escalate this matter to someone who can actually sort it out. What’s happening?
This business does not deserve one star - Be cautious when using this business. Still unsure if it’s registered. You’ll be left with incomplete, low quality work. Renovations that include services not done. A builder who is untruthful and doesn’t hold agreements. Capable of better work but drops the ball constantly - chance-taker. Much talk, less do. Doesn’t even provide a toilet for his workers who complain about him. Doesn’t provide correct compliance certificates - though billed for work done.
not even one star - have you also heard the little blurb - "some of our bankers under supervision" I am wondering how much messing up these "bankers" are allowed to do. My latest experience - my insurance contract reflects an incorrect address for the insured property - thank goodness I checked this before a claim. Then what a mission to sort it out! Still not sorted - is my property insured? 2nd problem - different information given to me about intermediary swift codes. Are these "bankers" or just *********** call centre agents that tick AA boxes? Discovery - no longer what it was - compromised brand.
