False advertising, terrible customer service and breach of consumer protection act

Terrible experience. I ordered a product that was advertised as having 9 modes, and it arrived looking different from the picture on the website, and with only one mode. Nightmare getting a proper response, and when I did, they were rude. I asked for a refund and was told that they do not do refunds, but would replace it (this after 15 days of trying to get a response and talk to a manager, who I never manage to get hold of by the way.) At this point I had found another product at an alternative shop, so explained that it was my right under the consumer protector act to a refund in the event of false adverti*****t, to no avail. I have now opened a complaint with the consumer protector and recommend anyone who is having these sorts of issues to do the same. I also suspect that many of the good reviews are bots.
