Good Morning I'm.khanyisa loliwane I took a phone 20th September 2023 and I was told by salesman that I'd pay monthly after my first weekly payment but now I have to pay weekly after l was told only 1 weekly payment is required there after its monthly
I had a funeral policy with old mutual group schemes for my niece brenda Nombulelo mooi she was born on 28.06.1990 she passed on on the 29th of October 2022.she had been in and out of hospital for a number of times.i had her covered for 30.000. with group schemes and i always kept her details in my dairy then i later on took out a second policy with old mutual protect upon making a claim with old mutual group schemes it came to light that the broker had captured the month of June wrong instead they wrote August.it is very easy to confuse 8 and six but on the second policy every thing is fine.but now when i claimed they just payed me out 21000 instead of 30 000.i immediately launched a complaint with them but as till date i have heard nothing off them even though i do go and make inquiries i feel the penalty amount is too much its almost one third of the policy amount and that for a typing mistake that was not done by me can you please intervene on my behalf so that they old mutual can pay back the 9000 they unlawfully deducted from me.
