Shoddy work done one repairs and wheel alignment
Now, about 5 months (September 2025) ago including the 2 months given to Hi Q Potchefstroom to respond or contact me to fix the damage done to my G6. I went in for new tyres, and it was ordered, we got a call to bring the car in as the tyres had arrived. Once there and hey lifted the car they informed me the back stabilizer arms needed replacing otherwise my tyres would run off on the inside - I did that and it was replaced. All was well and I parked off my golf and used my day-to-day car cause the new tyres was for my trip to Cape Town. We made it halfway and the car sounded weird - eventually we stopped trying to figure out what was wrong and could see anything. We arrived to Cpt late and the next morning first thing I went to another tyres place in my hometown. The shock and horror that these guys showed me - my brand-new tyres were completely run off at the back - showing wire...it was a show and tell and we were informed we're lucky the tyres didn't burst and rolled the car. The alignment was severely, severely out that it came under question if it was even really done - the stabiliser arms don't lookl ike a new part and old scres and bolts were definitely used to put in the "new" parts. I immediately contacted the branch manager/supervisor and go little to not response from him other than a photo claiming the alignment was done. I sent all the images of under the car, the part that looks like an old part, the old nuts and *****s that was in the "new" part, wheel alignment report showing every single thing shows RED and absolutely no response about that. To this day, I've reached out several times since and never once has anyone asked me to bring my car back so they can look at what the issue was with their work. Brand new tyres not even 3months old at the time completely damaged on the first long road trip. We had to cancel all our paid bookings and plans because we didn't want to travel anywhere anymore since our vacation was completely ruin still just on the way to our destination. Coming back, it took us 2 and a half days drive back to Potch since we had to drive so slow afraid the tyres will burst. The most disappointing part is the absolutely no response since form HI-Q Potchefstroom...nothing - two and a half month later. My G6 has been parked off since we got home - 2 months just standing in th garage - brand new tyres GONE due to their negligence and nothing from them to try and rectify anything. Don't get the wrong, the customer service was top notch but the work on my car has been the worst. It's scary cause I have seen at least 1 review that the exact same thing happened to someone else...brand new tyres ruined cause of issues with the alignment done by Hi-Q Now I'm sitting with a G6 in the garage that I can't drive cause I'm too afraid of the back tyres while my front tyres are still completely brand new.

Planet42 is a **** - Quality Cheapies and its employees is a dishonest dealership
I had the misfortune of purchasing a vehicle through them via Quality Cheapies in Boksburg. I collected the vehicle December 2024 after 2 plane tickets after the first vehicle I was supposed to collect had engine problems on the lot and I had to go back, after my second plane up I got the vehicle and started driving home - to another province. The engine light came on halfway through my trip and losing power in-between the whole dive home - I called them - QC - immediately and was informed to get home and find a mechanic they will cover the cost with whoever is on their list of approved vendors. I parked off the vehicle - which was verified based on the kms on the vehicle. My family went on vacation with my husband's vehicle after making arrangements the QC vehicle will be collected by them and taken back to Boksburg, we came home from vacation in Jan in the vehicle was still at my house. I made contact again with P42 and QC and QC eventually came and collected the vehicle which was now completely dead and wouldn't start at all. The vehicle was collected early January 2025 - while payments has been going off with the final payment, they P42 was debited April/May 2025. December was paid - no use of the vehicle January was paid - no use of the vehicle -already collected by the 2nd debit February was paid - no use of the vehicle I stopped depositing money into the accont for this debit - April/May when money was paid without me knowing about it - they debited another installment - no vehicle in my possession. I tried for months to get this contract voided with P42 and Gavin form P42 instead kept on trying to convince me to continue with the deal and unsafe vehicle. My agreement with QC was to continue the deal was, they will return the vehicle to me at their own expense as I already paid for 2 plane tickets to get to them. QC then went back on their word and refused to deliver the vehicle to me even though they admitted it was their problem and they'll resolve it for me also at their expense only to go back on their word on this (delivering the vehicle to me on the expense) too and expected me to pay the mechanic. I finally got the contract with P42 dissolved only for them to ask me to pay another R12k in damages for a vehicle I had NO JOY from and after taking 4 installments from me - 1 while the vehicle was stationary with engine and problems and he final 3 while I didn't have the vehicle in my possession. Today I found out I have been reported to the ITC for an amount of R4100??? I called their collections 3 times this morning - twice I was hung up on by a lady named Sithole and the 3rd I was informed that I cannot speak to a supervisor or manager after being blatantly hung up on by P42 representatives. Why am I expected to pay more money after you took 3 installments from my account while I didn't have the vehicle due to a dishonesty and selling me a piece of **** vehicle that broke down on delivery/collection and then returned????
