I wish there was a zero star option. on hold with the claims department for 45 mins waiting 3 weeks for a claim to be paid ? but Im sure I wont be allowed to be 3 weeks late on making a payment totally unacceptable level of service
i am currently having the most miserable claim experience with Santam as they insist on paying our claim into their cash card. this card is extremely limiting in how you can spend as there are virtually no online retailers except takealot you can buy on. also santam obviously receive kickbacks which they give to the customer in cashback. not only that but the money on the card expires in approx 2 years, god knows how I am supposed to buy things for 150k on a cash card in such a short period of time, or I will loose my money. more frustrating that this is the fact that almost all the slips I have submitted were from retailers not on the list of supported retailers, not to mention the items purchased from overseas which I cannot now replace them as the card does not support travel agent or international spend. please be aware of this scan and be like me and move your insurance elsewhere
