Recently tried to purchase a vehicle on one of these repossessed Facebook pages/group These are the events that took place for all who will follow: 13/06/2023 On adverti*****t of several vehicles I was interested in purchasing AFTER receiving a catalogue of vehicles available for purchase, I got a WhatsApp from a lady called Annah M Radebe. I asked for a Dekra reports on three vehicles but due to security reasons they were not able to provide me with any information, this is the conversations that followed. We're an Auction Company That Specialises In Selling Before Auction and Auctioning. Second Hand Bank Repossessed Vehicles from Standard Bank , West bank , Absa Bank and NedBank... The price you see is the amount owed plus our auction fees. That is how much you pay if purchasing it before Auction. However, if it goes to auction that becomes the starting bid, meaning the price only goes up . After a few questions regarding this vehicles I was then told I’d be called by a sales manager. A guy called Vincent then phoned me. We had a light conversation about how the process works and this guy knows exactly how to make everything seem a 100% legit, the phycology behind this con is un-doubtful. I then received a message enquiring about some personal details We Require your... Fullname : Surname : ID number : Residential Address : Email Address : Next of kin : Phone Number : So we can generate a Profoma invoice for you... THANK YOU..... 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦 They then send me the Pro-forma invoice for all three vehicles of which I was to put down 20k on each vehicle to reserve the vehicles before they go to auction. **** company they are operating from Prime Liquidation SA PTY(Ltd) and also operating from the name of Auto AUCTION I took a few days to decide whether to do this transfer or not, gross questioning them to see if they stories match and it did. They did this con so well that there wasn’t much space to question the legitimacy. Vincent was mostly in communication regarding arrangement and calming one’s questions to be undeniable truth. 16/06/23 Received a call from a guy called Temba whom presumably works in the Logistics department. Whom then informed me that the Suzuki was booked on this number, and they are loading the cars on their Truck. Also got threatned in the process that they will turn the truck around if POP WAS NOT SENT. The vehicle would then be delivered at location address on the 19/06 or the 20/06 when payment reflects. 17/06/2023 After 3 days of pondering about this I then made a payment of R 20 460.00 to a Bidvest account which I later researched only to find that this was an international account. Felt pushed in this matter and then jet again reassured by Themba and Vincent that this was not a **** after an extensive and intense conversation Saturday morning. I only got phoned because payment wasn’t reflecting in their account so delivery had changed at this piont to either Monday or Tuesday Didn’t do an instant transfer, was requested to send a pin location and proof of payment, and then sent a location of the nearest police station. 18/06/2023 No communication took place from any of the individuals we spoke to 19/06/23 They kept in communication until the payment reflected but only heard from them after the monies reflected in their bank account which happened on 19/06 in the afternoon, for this reason I believe I was only being held on string of hope regarding the delivery of this vehicle because they didn’t want us to be suspicion and reverse the payment. All Communications ended on 19/06/2023. The last MESSAGE I received was that they will confirm how far the driver is from us but it should be delivered on the 20/06 20/06/23 No communication from any of the individual’s question More details on whom I DEALT WITH Vincent Samuals – Prime 073 112 9750 (no longer in use and personal no) Michele Botha - Prime 063 389 9453 (no longer in use, WA ONLY, Get VM) Annah M Redabe – Auto AUCTION 078 419 5861 (Still operational) Themba - Auto AUCTION 063 930 7063 (Still operational, WhatsApp Only They are currently using a legitimate ABSA repossessed lot in Boksburg as their address, and this company are dealing with daily complaints regarding this pretentious business. 21/06/23 No VECHILE WAS DELIVERED So, this is a warning to all those that are looking at purchasing a repossessed vehicle on a reposed pages or groups on Facebook. They advertise them on a Pre-Auction basis, and they are incredibly affordable at a low mileage is what makes these vehicles so appealing. What I would like to achieve here if is to ask everyone who finds them in this situation or even if you are not is the report these pages on Facebook as a complete ****. I think it would make a different if we could all stand together to stop these low life waists of oxygen ******! They have now opened a new Facebook page named as the name above, let's speak up and not be silenced by the injustice. I was surprised to see before I started this mission that no one has reported these people on Hello Peter, personally I believe standing together is better when facing these individuals.
