An an absolutely horrible experience. I’d orders prawns on Sixty60. Prepared them for a big Eid lunch for my family and extended family only to be mortified that the prawns were off! It was excruciatingly embarrassing! Imagine the scene as people are eating and realising the prawns are off and one by one coming to tell me to take it off the table! Topping it all off when I called to request a refund they politely said no, I need the boxes as proof. Now you tell me, who keeps the boxes of frozen food items!? It’s not a TV!! If I get calls from family members saying they got food poisoning then I’m going escalate this as far as possible! How **********!! And to think I was so impressed with checkers customer service before this! I would like my refund please! And the fact that the prawns were on special proves that they knew these prawns were on their way out or already bad!! Why still put it up for sale!!! They were trying to get rid of it, and they know very well that’s it’s a hot Eid lunch item and that it would sell! Taking advantage of the patrons need for them! Order number 108909815A
I had taken my son for a contact lense consultation and had a fitting done. Paid for this. I requested the results of this test ie the lense prescription. They refused to share this with me insisting on more consultations. This is fine and well and I would have brought him for another fit when able. My husband needed an idea of how much the lenses would cost as myself, my two other sons also wearing contacts. Ofcourse I can’t get comparative prices without his lense script. And also the test was done and paid for, the fit was done and paid for. These are separate. I demand the results of his lense script instead of being held hostage and being forced to FIRST come for more fits! I notice a trend of very pushy interactions at spectacle warehouse which is very annoying. Not everyone has large budgets for all those extras on spectacles for example. I’ve had great experiences with optometrist, Louise Van Niekerk is great. Unfortunately I will be taking my eye needs else where. I’ve send an email and waiting on a reply with the lense prescription which I’ve paid for!
<p>I received a generous canal walk gift card from my sister as a birthday gift. I drove all the way to canal walk (which is quite far from where I reside) and went straight to Mr price as I shop there very often, it's one of my favourite stores. I spent the better part of 2 hours picking all my items. Excited to use my voucher I offer it to the shop assistant and it declines. They say it's been happening, and that they simply cannot help me. I took the initiative to walk down to the canal walk help desk they give me options, so I walk back to the store and they try it and it declines again. So I'm walking to and fro several times extremely annoyed. Eventually Mr price tell me it's on their side and they cannot assist me! </p> <p> </p> <p>I found this to be an extremely annoying and disappointing experience. I have asked staff to hold my purchase till they can sort it out. I really hope that they do soon!</p>
