Defy washing machine

On the 28th of May 2023 I bought a washing machine from Pick n Pay hyper Soweto. On the 04th of July 2023, the washing machine spilled water on my kitchen floor. I then took the washing machine to the store so they can check it for me. To my surprise, I was told there was nothing they can do to help. To date,my washing machine is still at pick n Pay hyper Soweto. I was told that it was my negligence,so says their technician
