Thanks to Edu-Build Alberton institute
Good day. The year 2023 has been a tough but yet a success as I have completed level 5 of my studies with Edu-Build Alberton. Edu-Build is a good school and I can recommend it to any individual who would like to become a good, passionate and well trained teacher. First and foremost I have learnt that a good teacher is the one that is able to plan activities based on children ages, good lesson plans, daily plans. Have learnt how to observe and assess children. I have grown so much through the help and love I have obtained from Edu-Build staff. Our principal, Madam Aanisha Doodhnath is a loving, cheerful and humble lady. She has an open door policy for students to be able to express themselves and open up about their difficulties. An excellent planner and a hard worker. Level 4 facilitator - Madam Ishana Doodhnath, she is a humble, professional, a good listener and a facilitator who goes an extra mile for her students. Level 5 facilitator - Madam Nokwethemba Vilakazi is a good lesson planner, events planner, a motivator. She is a teacher full of energy and willing to help even after hours of school time. Patient and can guide you on where you can obtain research and where to go for references. She is my number 1 teacher! Most of the students needs and administration would not be successful or easy without office staff: 1. Madam, Jeanette Lelala 2. Madam, Sheetal Sewpersad 3. Madam, Sunjana Sumiran I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your patience, loving characters, hard work getting our papers, workbooks, study guides, copies, files and printing organised. Even after the closing hours of school you would make time and help without any complains. Keep up the good work as the faces of Edu-Build Alberton. To all my fellow students, I thank you for your love, friendship and togetherness we all learnt through our institution, principal and facilitators. We have grown and learnt diversity through special occasions like Cultural Days, Heritage Days and Women's Day Tea parties. The speeches, motivations we received as women and leaders of our homes, communities and schools grew us mentally, social, emotionally and in many other ways. To my fellow student, a sister, Thumeka Nkunkuma thank you for your help and dedication with your school work and to keep on pushing me even in times of weakness. Experience about my institution
Good Day To: Edu-Build Alberton institute and staff. It is an absolute pleasure and joy to have this platform and opportunity to write about my journey and experiences with my institute from year 2021, February level 4 until 2023 June as level 5 student. The environment in Edu-Build Alberton is welcoming, clean and warm. There is nothing as fulfilling as feeling like home wherever you are, staff is friendly, kitchen material (microwave, hot water even tea is available), heating in classes in winter, study material and aids are accessible and facilitators are friendly and helpful. Firstly, I would like to appreciate and thank our institution administrators: 1. Madam Jeanette Lelala 2. Madam Sheetal Sewpersad 3. Madam Sunjana Sumiran I would like to thank them about their manner of approach, ever smiling faces and going an extra mile making sure copies, study materials and other office material needed is received by every requesting student. Would explain and clarify accounts where needed without any judgement and bias. * Madam Jeanette Lelala, I would like to thank you personally for being there for me and my wife following up and using your own resources to make sure we catch up during our hard days in my family. Secondly, my heart goes to my facilitators: 1. Madam Ishana Doodhnath - she is a great, humble and helpful facilitator that goes an extra mile in helping with school work, even with personal matters. 2. Madam Nokwethemba Vilakazi - she is a vibey, full of life facilitator. Her personal traits, positivity towards life and passion in her work gives one a reason to strive and be part of her class. She goes an extra mile in helping with whatever is giving you hardship, from class work to life journey answers. The Principal - Madam Aanisha Doodhnath * A born leader, she knows her work and institution. She goes an extra mile to see her institution, students and staff happy and as a big family. A hard worker who wants to see things happen from activities, workshops, special days (cultural day, women's2 day/tea, heritage day, etc) and study materials. My experiences: From the period of year 2021 to 2023 I have learned more about values, self confidence, self respect and respect towards others. Being with students of diverse cultures, religion and beliefs have taught me how important is 'diversity' in our communities and in schools. In essence, being a student of Edu-Build Alberton has shown and taught me that being a teacher needs passion and broad thinking, be more observant and be a problem solver. I have grown mentally, emotionally, socially and physically. Edu-Build is indeed informing, independent & fun, taking us from darkness to light. Making our future bright.
