On Monday, June 16 we went through to the Emerald Resort and Casino for the game drive. from entrance to getting something to drink and the game drive, everyone was in high spirits, friendly and ever willing to help. The star of the day was Thato our driver, he was vibrant, helpful, gave indepth insight into each animal and went over and beyond to make the game drive a memorable one. If you booking the game drive, please request for Thato, you will not be disappointed.
My wife ordered Now Foods Dim 200 on Takealot which costs R600, she received the Now Foods Selenium which costs R200 and is the completely incorrect product. She requested this to be picked up and the correct product delivered, however when I collected the delivery, I opened the box Infront of the driver and again it was the incorrect product. Upon inspecting the product, I found that there was an add on barcode label which could have been added by TakeAlot with the description DIM 200 but the main label from the manufacturer clearly states Selenium. Wha a *******, does no one check that the descriptions match????? is TakeAlot ripping of customers or is it the supplier. Raising complaints with the regulatory body.
Last week my wife and I popped in at the Checkers Store in Durban, Overport, The Atrium Mall. Went through to the bakery and as I stood there waiting for the employee behind the counter that seemed to be staring away from us intentionally, I called out to him and his body language already showed his hesitance to be of any assistance. he slowly made his way to us and I ordered a pie. my wife asked him about a baked item and in an arrogant manner and body language said he does not know what is in it. It seemed that this young man did not want to be at work or totally hated his job, being posted in a position that requires customer interaction should be held by someone that is customer centric. I found a manager behind me and advised him of the issue, he took the young man aside and spoke to him and another lady assisted us. In the whole incident I didn't even check the items that we were served, when I got to the car I found that the pie was ice cold, yet it was in a warmer!!!!!!!!! Checkers Overport, Please train staff to be customer Centric and don't sell cold pies.
A few weeks ago, my family and I went to the Spur at Newmarket Mall in Alberton. We were seated and everything was seamless. The staff were very friendly. When our order was served, my wife's steak that was supposed to be medium rare but was well done. Our waitress, Penny, came through and effortlessly got the order the order corrected. She is an absolute superstar and the reason why I am rating the Spur branch 5 stars. Always a pleasure dining at this Spur. Thank you Penny.
I have recently been experiencing issues with the Superflex package that I signed up for online and after not getting much assistance from the contact centre customer care, I decided to go to MTN Newmarket. The staff were absolutely friendly and even though this was not a deal taken up via the store, I was offered assistance, guidance and resolution to my issues. Thank you for the excellent service

I had called in due to a password issue and the consultant I spoke to made me feel like I was committing *****. He also sounded frustrated and for some reason the call dropped. I then called back and spoke to Refilwe, who from the start was polite, knowledgeable and very helpful. She did advise me on the steps to take and that I should use an alternate browser. I needed to restart my phone and Refilwe could not stay on the call with me, she did take my contact number and gave me sound advice. After the call, I followed her steps and my issue was resolved. As promised Refilwe called back to check if all was well. Thank you Refilwe for your help and your professionalism in resolving my query. it is verry hard to find staff that take ownership of queries and go the extra mile to resolve them, CSD you have a star employee. I ordered the MTN Superflex deal and all was working well, that's until my line no longer works. I am unable to make calls and thought this was maybe due to a payment issue but when I checked that the debit order is going off and there shouldn't be any issues, I called in and the nightmare began, I am unable to call 135 from the number given by MTN for some reason and used an alternate line. with all the prompts and repeated calling to get through to a consultant which took about 25 minutes I spoke to a consultant who escalated the issue and advised I should switch my phone off for 15minutes and try calling, guess what, it still doesn't work. So I am paying for services that I am not receiving.
An order for a glass table top was placed 2 weeks ago and fully paid for, this order has failed to be delivered with excuses being made that the delivery vehicles have broken down. To further aggravate the situation, when I called in and requested to speak to a manager or supervisor the receptionist could not hear me, I called in twice and on the third time the receptionist did not answer the call which was then diverted to an alternate person. 1) Does your company only have one delivery vehicle? 2) Are the elderly being taken advantage of and not being given priority? 3) Is the company not able to meet its obligations and making excuses?
the issue is ongoing and becoming annoying as this company fails to comply with POPIA, my wife and i have on numerous occasions requested that our details be removed from their database which they claim was supp**** by TELKOM. despite these requests they still continuously call. yesterday i received a call from a consultant named Kayden, whom i advised that i have previously requested the details be removed from their database as we are not interested in a new deal. the consultant kept muting his side and when i asked for a managers name, he advised me that the Team Leaders and managers are in a meeting, to which my response was that i did not request to speak to anyone but wanted the details of the departments manager as i am escalating this as non-compliance to the regulator for not removing our personal information from their database. The consultant then dropped the call. I am taking this up further.
